| The Czech Republic

The Czech Republic is located in Central Europe. Our republic is border with Germany, Poland, Slovakia and Austria. There are three historical lands: Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia. Population is about 10 millions. Our capital city is Praha. It’s beautiful historical city and it has got over 1 million inhabitants. Our President of the Czech Republic is Václav Klaus and our premier is Petr Nečas. Czech currency is Czech crown. Our flag is blue, white and red and our national hymn is: “Kde domov můj”. The Czech Republic is mountainous and hilly country. The biggest mountain is Sněžka in the Krkonoše Mountins, the oldest national park. There are some big rivers. The oldest river is the Vltava River and the largest river is the Labe River. Our republic is famous for mineral spring. The most popular spa is in Karlovy Vary. Our republic is famous for beer. Czech beer is the best beer of all. We are also good at sports. We are the world champions 2010 in ice hockey. Our country is very beautiful and I love living there!
